These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Stry, Inc. ("Stry", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of gostry.com and the Stry platform (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Stry on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Stry is a business compliance management platform that helps small businesses upload, organize, and track compliance documents, monitor expiration dates, manage vendor and technology assets, and receive AI-powered insights and renewal recommendations.
Stry is a software tool, not a law firm, compliance consultancy, or licensed professional advisor. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal, financial, tax, or regulatory advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gostry.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use Stry. The Service is intended for business use, not personal or consumer use.
As an account owner, you may invite team members to access your business data. You are responsible for your team members' use of the Service and for ensuring they comply with these Terms. Team member limits depend on your subscription plan.
Stry offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Growth, Business). Plan features, limits, and pricing are described at gostry.com/#pricing and may be updated from time to time with notice to existing subscribers.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing, you authorize Stry to charge your payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, at the start of each billing period. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as described below.
Certain paid plans may include a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@gostry.com within 30 days and we will review your request.
You retain all ownership rights to the documents, data, and content you upload or create in Stry ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
By uploading content to Stry, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. This includes sending document content to our AI sub-processors (OpenAI) for data extraction and the AI assistant features, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Stry uses artificial intelligence (powered by OpenAI) for document data extraction and the AI compliance assistant. By using these features, you acknowledge:
The Stry platform, including its design, software, features, branding, and all content we create, is owned by Stry, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property.
"Stry" and the Stry logo are trademarks of Stry, Inc. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stry disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stry, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stry, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party.
By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting support@gostry.com. Closing your account cancels any active subscription at the end of the current billing period.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if we determine your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of severe violations.
Upon termination, your access to the Service will end. We will retain your data for up to 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After that period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@gostry.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Any disputes not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English in Florida. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Stry.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
